Yeni Mitrani Sanat Mekanı, Miami'de Fotoğraf, Film ve Video Sanatını Canlandırıyor
Mitrani Aile's former warehouse in Little River reopens as Mitrani Art, a dedicated venue for photography, film and video. The space will host exhibitions, studios and a screening room, aiming to nurture emerging and established artists.

Mitrani Aile's former warehouse, which operated since 2002 as a clothing factory, has been transformed into a new art venue. The building, located in Little River, will open on 30 November as Mitrani Art, a dedicated space for photography, film and video. The reopening marks a new chapter for the Mitrani family, who have long nurtured Miami's artistic community.
The inaugural exhibition, ReExposures: The Magic Within, showcases lens‑based works. Antonia Wright's video, Suddenly We Jumped, features a 2013 performance in which the artist shattered a glass ceiling. The piece exemplifies the venue's commitment to socially engaged art and experimental practice.
Dina and Rhonda Mitrani, former employees of Christie’s and a film‑production career respectively, returned to Miami after years abroad. They acquired a former mechanic shop in 2019 and hired R&R Studios, led by Roberto Behar and Rosario Marquardt, to design the new facility. The project faced delays due to the pandemic and permitting.
Mitrani Art houses four studios, a screening room and the Dina Mitrani Gallery. Rent is positioned at the lower end of the neighborhood market, supported by future grant funding. The sisters also established Mitrani Art Projects Inc., a non‑profit that will run educational programs, ensuring the space remains accessible to emerging and established artists alike.
